We prune to meet specific aesthetic and health objectives. Such objectives may include:
Crown Cleaning in which we selectively remove dead, dying, diseased or weak branches, as well as water sprouts or sucker growth. Crown Thinning by removing selective branches to increase light penetration, improve air movement or reduce weight. Crown Raising by removing lower branches to provide clearance while maintaining the tree's natural shape. Vista Pruning in which specific areas of the crown are removed or thinned for a better view of objects beyond the tree. Crown Restoration, performed to improve the structure, form and appearance of trees that have been severely mutilated during previous unprofessional pruning, vandalized or storm damage. Hazard Reduction reduces the danger that visible hazards may cause. Maintenance Pruning, performed to improve the tree health and structure.
Complete removal of trees to within 6" of ground level and clean-up of all debris.
All pruning and repair work is done in accordance with Professional Tree Care Standards established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
