FIRE BLIGHT
Fire Blight is caused by bacteria. Fire Blight bacteria overwinter in cankers (growths) on twigs. In spring cankers become active (open). Rain and insects then spread bacteria from tree to tree causing injury.
Host Plants: Pear, Apple, Crabapple and Hawthorne
Damage: Bark flecking (separation) Red/Back Curled leaf. It looks like the leaf has been burnt.
