BAGWORMS
Immediately after the egg hatches, the caterpillar will spin a protective bag. This bag will be tear shaped and covered with materials from the plant on which it is feeding. The caterpillar itself is dark brown with a yellow head and back and yellow spots on the body.
Host Plants: All evergreen and deciduous trees.
Damage: Defoliation will weaken the plant, causing it to be unsightly in appearance and can cause death.
